Only 35 km south of SKAGEN you find the fishing village STRANDBY, 2 km east of the mainroad Frederikshavn-Skagen. Strandby is a central place for excursions in Northjutland and only 9 km to the ferries to Norway and Sweden. Here you can find a unique atmosphere, yet to be reached by mass tourism. On KIRKEVEJ – an old fishermans house is situated just 2 min from the harbour and 5 min from the beach, built in the traditional Skagen style in 1897.
Here, we endavour to make your stay as good as possible, and this we hope you will experience, when you have spent a night in our beautiful and cosy home. A mixture of old and modern style. Breakfast is highly appreciated by many guests.The auction hall lies on the quaside, where the sale of fish and shellfish takes place every morning at 7 am. Many yachts more and more visit the harbour, with abt. 40 local fishing boats. To the north, the beach continues all the way up to Skagen. A good and child friendly bathing beach.
